Miguel Abreu Gallery

Miguel Abreu Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with two locations on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The first opened in 2006 at 36 Orchard Street, followed in 2014 by a second space two blocks away at 88 Eldridge Street. Part of a broader migration of galleries from the high-cost Chelsea district to the Bowery and surrounding neighborhoods, Miguel Abreu Gallery has become a key site for emerging and conceptually driven practices in New York. The gallery represents a roster of primarily New York–based artists and stages rigorously conceived solo and group exhibitions, along with large-scale projects, performances, film screenings, and lectures.
